Information from the Nurse

December 15, 2024

All medications both prescription and over-the-counter that are required at school should be kept in the nurse's office. The appropriate form signed by both the medical provider and/or parent should also be on file before any medication is given. Students are not allowed to bring prescription or over-the-counter medications for their own use or that of others. Such medicines will be removed from the student and retained for return to the parents.  Exceptions to this rule are students (6-12) with asthma and/or allergies that require emergency medications such as inhalers or an epi-pen. Students are allowed to self-carry and administer sunscreen as needed.
