USD 303 Family Mourns the Loss of Emily Smith

The USD 303 Eagle Family is sad to report the passing of Emily Smith. Mrs. Smith was an NCHS graduate that had returned to the Eagle Family as a fourth grade teacher for the past two years. She was a valued member of our community and school, always giving of herself to help others. As an organ donor, she was able to continue her desire to help and support others even in death. We thank everyone for the prayers and support you have provided Mrs. Smith and her family during these trying times, and ask that those prayers and support continue. We have counselors and other supports in place at school for any students or staff needing help to cope with this sad news.
Emily’s funeral will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, December 22, at the Methodist Church in Ness City.
