1st Day of 2024 - 2025 School Year

The 2024 -2025 school year is under way!

USD 303 Ness City Schools welcomed students back from their summer break. To start the day off right, our Stuco provided the junior and senior high students with cinnamon rolls and orange juice! Reporting to their first hour (and throughout the day) students reconnected with friends as they navigated their way through 8 brand-new classes.

Juniors Brynlin and Jewel both thought the “school day was OK, fun actually.” Brynlin is looking forward to “chemistry class. I will use it a lot.” Jewel thinks her “student aide for 1st grade will be interesting.” Zach called this first day “alright.” He is excited about his “environmental science class” adding “it looks interesting”. Dakota’s day went “fine and ok.” He is most looking forward to “football practice on Monday.”

Freshmen Kori and Miley “thought the day went much better than anticipated but it was pretty much like 8th grade.”

The adults in the school also thought the day was “amazing”. Mr. Joe Flax (math/business teacher) is hoping to “see growth in the students as well as myself.” Mrs. Cathy Sutton (secretary at the high school) would like to remind parents that “she is always available and don’t be afraid to contact her.”

All in all, it was a good start for another year at Ness City Schools!

It’s a GREAT day to be an EAGLE.
