Younger’s Comments: “We had a very good day today, kids competed hard and that’s all you can ask for as a coach. The girls did what they needed to do to come home with the win. To have 6 total individual qualifiers, it’s a testament to the work these kids have put in since June to be the best they can be. Chaz did what he needed to as well. We’ve got a really good group qualified and are ready to go up against the best in Wamego! Workouts and training have been great all season, all that’s left to do is toe the line in Wamego and give it absolutely everything we have 1 more time, leaving absolutely nothing in the tank! I have full faith in the kids they are going to do just that! This team has been incredible to coach, we have lots of new faces in the program and they have all stepped up huge and have had phenomenal performances. On the girls side it’s going to take a full team effort to finish the job of Runnin’ It Back. Pretty Prairie who ran at the other Sub-State is very good along with all of the other schools that have been ranked all season. We are going to have a great week of practice and then do all that we can to represent Ness City that the whole community can be proud of! Go Eagles!”
